Thanksgiving is a day filled with love, joy, and of course, thankfulness. Now that October is almost over, I realize that I need to plan my first Thanksgiving. Normally we celebrate with family, but this year I am the host, and I want to make sure that everything goes relatively well. I thought I would share how I am planning an awesome Thanksgiving on a limited budget, with limited time, and with easy tips and tricks to keep me (and hopefully you) from being overwhelmed.
Some Pre-made Dishes
It may be considered lazy to some, but I just don’t have the time to make an elaborate 15 dish meal in one day. I love cooking, but I also know that I don’t get holiday pay or time off as an entrepreneur. Although I am taking the full day off from clients onThanksgiving, I will be working on my own “stuff”. Also, the day before Thanksgiving will be spent doing last minute tasks for clients and preparing a few special projects for next year.
